About the Artist

As a metal artist for the past 20 years I have evolved into being able to portray and execute several styles of work. From tradtional forged ornamental ironwork to whimsical and sometimes contemporary forged and fabricated sculpture. The work is not limited to scale or material, often there will be several materials combined to incorporate a painted look to the pieces using the natural colors of the metal. Self taught as a classical blacksmith and later introducing more non-traditional processes of metal work such as welding, pressing, cutting, and fabricating I have found wonderful new ways of expressing my thoughts and feelings into cherished works of art.
