About the Artist

I offer an interactive music program that includes traditional songs and games with those that teach concepts such as counting and rhyming, as well as songs from many different cultures. In my program children have the opportunity to be creative with movements and lyric writing (with plenty of laughter)and are introduced to a variety of instruments,including guitar, banjo, mandolin, harmonica and percussion. I often collaborate with teachers/librarians in choosing songs that will enhance their curriculum, for example, holiday, seasonal or literary themes, performances, etc. I have played music with children in pre-schools, elementary schools, summer recreation programs, museums and libraries. I present this program with pride and pleasure knowing it is well-received by children and their teachers. I am available on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis and also for special shows.
