About the Artist

I am a self-taught painter and work in many media: pencil, ink, charcoal, watercolor, gouache, casein &&&&oils.

I am primarily a representational painter.

I accept commissions for traditional portraits of people, their pets and their homes or places of business.

My favorite commissions are of specific landscapes especially of the coast in Maine.

I have a very distinct style and enjoy lively colors and line. Though my work is impressionistic it is also quite detailed. You''ll have to see it to understand this description. Stop by the Wells Public Library in the month of JULY 2004 to see a solo show of my work.

I have been spending summers in Wells Beach for over thirty years and have been painting and sketching on the beach for the last four or five years.
