About the Artist

I am an artist with over 30 years of experience in portrait painting and the nearly lost art of traditional, freehand cut silhouette portraits.
I have a Masters degree in education and was a classroom teacher for fifteen years, as well. I now enjoy visiting schools to talk about and demonstrate, and/or teach, portraiture and silhouette art.
I can provide recent references from Maine schools at which I have been an artist in residence. A bio and many samples of my work are available online at my website.
