About the Artist

I work to commission,designing and building contemporary hardwood furniture. Tradition enters through the forms,joinery and care that shape my process. My goal is that
every piece precisely meets the needs and desires of each client in a form that uplifts.
Utility, grace and integrity are my guides to that end.
My studio is at our home that I share with my wife, Colleen and 5-year old daughter, Morrigan.
Additionally, I have taught furniture making at The Center for Furniture Craftsmanship in Rockport for the past three years and written several pieces that were published in Fine Woodworking and various Taunton Press books.
