About the Artist

I am a sculptor using varied alternative materials such as rubber, hemp, straw ,I also use many soft woods. My work has the very heavy influences of island life and reflects that in the way I use materials, recycled and reclaimed materials are specific to my work. I have varied interests in encaustic painting, ceramics and drawing, woodworking and metals.
I am currently setting up LIFE SKILLS WORKSHOPS a business that will allow me to teach from my studio more.the workshops are called THE DRAGONFLYFARMS WORKSHOP SERIES where students can work and learn from many diverse classes from soapmaking to herbal medicine to clay sculpture to furniture making and cooking skills. Lectures and visiting artists too!
