About the Artist

After spending 30 years in industry first as a technical artist, as a technical writer, and finally as an interior decorator, Francoise has returned to her first love, art. Though she still maintains a design studio, teaches decorating @ the Sunrise Senior College at UMM, and will be teaching courses at EAE in the fall of 2004, she produces several new pieces per month. Francoise has explored and mastered several mediums, but prefers to work in pastel chalks. Her work covers a broad spectrum of subject matter ranging from graphics to florals, stillife to landscapes and seascapes, character pieces to animals and birds.
