About the Artist

I've been working with the landscape since the late seventies and my strongest influence is the coast of Maine. The work is done entirely in my studio and comes from my daily experience and impressions of the landscape rather than representing a specific place. The pieces are all about light and capturing ephemeral moments in time and the mysterious essence of landscape. I work with pastels on finely sanded paper.
