About the Artist

Beth Carlson's gift with painting animals and pets (portraits) in landscapes has made her the choice of many animal lovers across the country. Because of her extensive background with animals, she consistently captures the individual personality as well as the physical characteristics of her subjects.
She has studied with Werner Rentsch, President of the American Academy of Equine Art, Sam Savitt, once the official artist for the U.S. Equestrian Team, Robert Abbett, the renowned sporting dog artist, and Daniel Greene, one of American's leading portrait painters.
Beth's oil paintings have graced the covers of The Pointing Dog Journal, Gray's Sporting Journal and The Chronicle of the Horse. Galleries represent her Sporting Art accross the country.
She is also a member of the prestigious Women Artists of the West.
