About the Artist

In my art, I try to make visible a transpersonal component of the natural world. I have been looking for connections between the natural and numinous since growing up in the Ruhrgebiet, Germany, and living and working in Switzerland as writer and editor. In Europe, I was engaged in writing about people of the Rudolf Steiner community and beyond who had their own experiences and visions. Over the years, - especially since moving to Maine in 1998 - I have been discovering my personal, inner connection to the natural world in which animals and plants play a big part. My art has been emerging out of it as my own language.
