About the Artist

Suzanne R. Roy is a writer/playwright, songwriter, writing coach, and creativity coach. She wrote "La Bonne Aventure," a nationally distributed, federally-funded bilingual children's television series, in 1976. Her play "Tradition" was showcased in NYC in 1996 and produced in Australia in 2001. Her play "Caretakers" will be produced in Australia in July 2005. Her Christmas carol -- "A Christmas Lullaby" -- was performed by Magic & Company at their Christmas concert in Lewiston in 2004. She also contributed an article to "Inspiring Creativity: An Anthology of Powerful Insights and Practical Ideas to Guide You to Successful Creating" published in 2005 by the Creativity Coaching Association Press. She has written several one-act and full length plays and would be interested in doing commissioned work for special occasions. She is also available to give workshops and seminars dealing with writing and with creativity issues. Suzanne is a member of The Dramatists Guild of America and the Creativity Coaching Association.
