About the Artist

Ed Nadeau is a painter living in Orono, Maine. Currently his work focuses on both the land and people of Maine through the use of the narrative and the abstract.

Assistant Professor Nadeau teaches at the University of Maine in Orono and specializes in painting, drawing, landscape painting, 2D-Design, Nature Drawing and the making and use of artist's materials, particularly those for painters i.e. encuastic, egg tempera etc.

His work is represented by the Courthouse Gallery in Ellsworth, Maine. In June 2010, his work will be included in an exhibition at the George Marshall Store Gallery in York, Maine.
