About the Artist

Mary Kaye has combined her extensive experience in music, theatre and education to achieve critical acclaim as a singer/songwriter and musical performing artist for children. Her first CD, I Sang It Just For You, was a pick in the School Library Journal and received the Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Gold Award, the Dr. Toy ""Best Vacation Children''s Products"" Award, the Children''s Music Web Award for ""Best Toddler CD,"" and the Film Advisory Board ""Award of Excellence."" Mary''s second CD, Mouse Jamboree, received the 2005 Dr. Toy Smart Play/Smart Toy ""Product of Excellence"" Award, and was a 2005 pick in Parenting Magazine, Booklist and The School Library Journal. Mary''s music has aired on radio programs for children in seventeen states and the UK and is also in regular rotation on XM Satellite Radio. She writes the music and lyrics for all her songs which focus on a wide range of subjects from the joys and challenges of childhood to fairy tales. Mary is available for performances of her music in a show that is filled with audience participation, theatrics and fun for the entire family.
