King Pirogi is a five-piece band that's been quietly working the Midcoast for years, serving a fabulous mix of music to dancing audiences at weddings, parties, and festivals throughout the region. With old-time polka as their centerpiece, the band dabbles in swing, jazz, rock-n-roll standards, and klezmer. The band members?on accordion, bass, drums, trumpet, clarinet and saxophone, and vocals?are as diverse as the band's repertoire, and they take the stage with an infectious enthusiasm and sense of humor.
