About the Artist

I am primarily an oil painter. I work with oils and oil pastels on wood to create abstract expressionistic images which illustrate the connectedness of the natural world and the human condition. My stream of conscious decision making process results in images of animals, landscapes, faces, narratives, as well as abstract forms of color and line. My paintings are about love, joy, sex, hope, and they are about dispair, patriarchy, and suffering. I hope that by continuing my own evolution through my painting I will strike a chord and connect with others.
