About the Artist

*Wendy Newcomb is a representational painter and freelance illustrator whose primary mediums include oil, gouache,acrylic and mixed media. She received her B.F.A from the University of New Hampshire. Organizations, businesses,schools and private individuals have commissioned her for her paintings, illustrations and murals.She has done a number of murals for Percent for Art projects in various schools around the state. Her illustrations and paintings have appeared in a number of publications, including L.L.Bean, Bayview Press, Old Cars Weekly and Artists of New England. She is represented by the Hole in the Wall Gallery in Raymond, Maine and Bayview Gallery in Brunswick,Maine,New Era Gallery, Vinalhaven, ME.
