About the Artist

A 2010 recipient of The Republican Journal's "People's Choice Award" for best artist in Waldo County, Maine, Celene has shown extensively in galleries and juried art shows throughout the country. She has received numerous awards and her work has been featured on the cover of two publications, The Belfast Chamber of Commerce Guide and the Maine travel guide, Captain D Downeast. She was also voted one of the best artists in Waldo County, Maine, in 2008 and 2009.

She is the co-owner and consultant to The Working Art Gallery in Belfast, Maine, voted one of the best art galleries in Waldo County, Maine, in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010.
