About the Artist

The Argosy Gallery continues a 175-year tradition of fine art on Mount Desert Island and deals exclusively in original paintings. Emphasis is on coastal Maine as interpreted by some of America's most prominent traditional painters and favorite local artists. The gallery is open daily mid-May through October, and year-round by appointment. "A hidden gem" downstairs at 110 Main Street, Bar Harbor (next to the banks.)
