About the Artist

The mission of the Odeon Youth String Orchestra is to offer young string musicians the opportunity to:
1. Play in a variety of ensemble settings, including full orchestra, chamber ensembles, and as soloists.
2. Develop the musical skills necessary for ensemble play.
3. Perform orchestral and other string works in concert settings that are open to the public.

Odeon, founded in 2000, has performed at Riley School, John Street Methodist Church, and both the Rockport and Camden Opera Houses. Bay Chamber Concerts, a nationally recognized music presenter, is a supporter of the Odeon Orchestra, along with several local schools and community organizations.
