About the Artist

Portland Ballet was founded in 1980 with a mission to enrich the community through ballet training, education, outreach, and performance. Portland Ballet Company, a group of professional dancers, appears throughout the year in Portland, Lewiston, and Ogunquit, performing full-length classics as well as highly regarded contemporary choreography. Our Affiliated School programs include C.O.R.P.S., the performing arts high school partnership with Portland High School, CityDance, our elementary school residency program, and Lecture-Demonstrations, which bring an interactive dance experience into the schools. Classes for all ages and abilities are offered.
