About the Artist

I am a writer and poet who wishes to work in schools,after-school programs in libraries or adult education settings teaching creative writing and poetry to children and adults. I have had a lifelong love of poetry and literature. I have been in a writing group that met weekly for over ten years. I have studied with Baron Wormser, poet laureate of Maine, at The Frost Place and at Haystack. I have a great deal of experience and love of writing and poetry to bring to teaching.
I have studied with Mt. Desert Island poet Candace Stover. She is a published poet, author of chapbooks,teacher, and creator of adult writing groups. I worked as a nurse for many years and that experience greatly influenced
my writing life.
