About the Artist

I received my college degree in Germany. I practiced architecture both in Germany and the United States before pursuing my Art interest as North Haven Community School's Art teacher for seven years. My interest in ceramics and my architectural education led me to experiment with clay hand building techniques, resulting in the use of clay slabs for both sculptures as well as wall art murals.

All ceramic pieces are created and fired in my studio space adjacent to my gallery on North Haven Island, Maine.
