About the Artist

Loopin' is a five member ensemble playing original music with Afro-Caribbean/Latin American/Middle Eastern flavors. The band features Shamou (percussion, lead vocals, synthesizer), Annegret Baier (percussion, violin, vocals), Gary Whitner (guitar, vocals), Barb Truex (electric mountain dulcimer, ukelele, vocals), Andy Chipman (bass, vocals). The group offers performances and workshops throughout New England.
