Judith Long

About the Artist

Judith is a sculptor living in Corinna, Maine. She creates wallsculptures of earthenware clay. Each piece is fired in a kiln multiple times with underglazes and glazes. Acrylic or oil paint is then applied creating contrast to the glazes. Each piece is one of a kind. No molds are used in the process.

Her sculptures offer a wide range of themes; from emerging flowers and roots out of abstract shapes, to hidden faces and human forms, to birds, animals and fish.
