About the Artist

David Hentosh and his wife Keri, live in the quiet countryside of Aroostook county, Maine. Being an avid outdoorsman, Dave draws on his experiences and the natural beauty of his surroundings for the inspiration of his sculptures. Realism, with a touch of artistic impression, defines the style in which he creates each piece.
Farm life as a youngster in the rugged mountains of Virginia, and later the rural upper Chesapeake Bay, instilled a love and desire to study wildlife. David obtained a degree in Wildlife Management from the University of Maine in 1989. The knowledge of animal anatomy, behavior, and interaction play a key role in the ability to bring his sculpture to life.
