About the Artist

Long time resident of Stonington on Deer Isle, Siri is known for her wood engravings of coastal Maine, and more recently western National Parks where she has received three artist''''s residencies. She has also illustrated books such as ""A Week at the Lake"" published by Downeast Books.

Each September Siri teaches a workshop on Eagle Island using handmade journals, paste papers and watercolors.

Transistion has recently been a personal theme, taking her to Colorado for the winters where her focus is painting in oils and watercolors.
