About the Artist

The 50/50 Band has been playing western Maine clubs for just over a year, bringing our special brand of acoustic and electric blues to audiences in Bethel, Bridgton &&&& Naples. The band started out as a duo with Bob Rosenbaum and Rich Frino performing at various open mics. Bob, a guitarist with 13 years experience, and Rich, a seasoned vocalist, began collecting songs in and out of the blues genre that fed their creative juices.
Mark Peterson joined the duo after moving back to Maine. Mark''s been playing blues harp for over 27 years with bands like The Blues Busters and the Danny Jones Band. He brings a wealth of blues knowledge to the 50/50 Band, and some mighty big chops.
Jim Boucher, a recent Bay State transplant, brought his Gibson bass to the band along with his long experience in vocal harmony. Jim''s been crafting and singing harmonies for a long time.

All our sets combine great old-time blues and R&&&&B, but we also mix in gems from contemporary blues artists and music we love to perform outside the blues idiom.
