"Kearney's ceramic creations (tile mosaics) are colorful and have themes ranging from Etruscan vases to fish, flowers, fruit and birds. But don't expect these tiles to look like a photograph of these familiar objects. Her interpretive style makes each design recognizable as the real, but they are clearly Kearney's vision, with some influence from Matisse from whom, she says, she draws much of her inspiration."
