About the Artist
''The paintings of Central Maine artist, Penny Oliphant, typically depict a bygone era in style and subject; her 50''s landscapes are hardly run-of-the-mill and their demure softness expresses a nostalgic elegance that is a pleasure to observe.'' ?Edgar Allen Beem
