Maine Music Society

About the Artist

The Maine Music Society supports the artistic and educational activities of the Maine Chamber Ensemble and the Androscoggin Chorale, all under the leadership of its Artistic Director, John Corrie.

The flexibility of the group allows for solo, chamber, orchestra, and choral concerts.

The Society seeks to broaden its scope and community presence by collaborating with other musical organizations in the Lewiston/Auburn area.

2006-2007 season saw a special performance of Brahms'' German Requiem that combined the musical forces of the Maine Music Society, Bates College, Edward Little High School Concert Choir, and the Lewiston High School Chorus. Collaborations with the Mid-Coast Symphony Orchestra, the Southern Maine Children''s Chorus and SS Peter and Paul Basilica highlight the ''07 -''08 season.
