About the Artist

Sharon Townshend is a sculptor who works in clay. Work ranges from life sized forms alluding to the figure to smaller wall hung pieces. She has completed 10 Percent for Art terra cotta murals for Maine schools, as well as the donor recognition wall for the Auburn Public Library.

Sharon is a co-owner of Sawyer Stret Studios, where she teaches.
