About the Artist

Brian McLaughlin was trained as a painter in the early 1980's in Miami and Orlando. In 1985, Brian moved to Maine to continue to work.

Since that time he:

- has taught drawing, painting, art history, graphics, and digital technology.
- is the Principal of McLaughlin Designs; a website design, print design, illustration, and imaging firm.
- is a consultant in the area of digital imaging software.

Brian McLaughlin's training was as a traditional fine artist. As technology started to emerge in the design world, Brian not only kept up to speed, but also found himself consulting for others in the best uses of digital imaging software. Brian's current medium is Digital Painting.
