About the Artist

I am a furniture artist based in Rockland. I am also an instructor at the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship in Rockport.

Over the past 15 years, I have taught children's and adult woodworking classes at Anderson Ranch Arts Center, CO, Penland School of the Arts, NC, as well as abroad in the UK and Australia. As a workshop leader, my students have been inspired to design and create imaginative wood and sculptural pieces including willow furniture, clocks, and painted sculptural furniture, or discovered new ways to apply parquetry and marquetry patterns during the design process.
