About the Artist

Mark''s work often defies categorization. Perhaps it can best be described as visionary, a little bit Dali (surreal and whimsical) while a little bit Van Gogh (vibrant with color that leaps off the canvas). Topics range from the dreamlike imagery in his ''''Breakthroughs and Transitions'''' series, to a visual adventure in hue and flow when immersed in his ''''Abscapes''''.

Primarily self taught, Mark lives and works in his studio in Saco, Maine. Although comfortable working with virtually any form of media, his special love is acrylics finished with a gloss medium.

After a six year absence in the Midwest, Mark is home again and anxious to reconnect with the Maine arts community. He is currently seeking representation.
