About the Artist

Primarily a painter of the Maine landscape, Paul paints in a Plein Air style. His simplified forms and ''pushed'' color heighten the experience of the subject matter.

Represented by the Mast Cove Gallery, in Kennebunkport, and the Fore Street Gallery, in Portland, Paul is also on the faculty at the River Tree Center for the Arts and a member of the Art Guild of the Kennebunks.

Paul studied at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, the University of Massachusetts, the Heartwood college of Art and is also an annual participant in the PBS Television, Maine College of Art and Laudholm Trust benefit auctions.
