About the Artist
Floral portraits and abstracts;
Maine coastal sunrises &&&& sunsets.
Heather Dwyer Sadlier discovered photography as a teenager and never stopped. Heather may use her camera to explore the depths of a dew-drenched, red rose or to reveal the translucent petals of a poppy, ablaze with color in the light of the setting sun. She also captures coastal Maine scenes, especially the sunrises and sunsets near her seaside village home. Some of these images include dawn?s fiery skies behind the silhouetted mountains of Acadia and ?first light? from the summit of Cadillac Mountain. Others catch diamonds dancing on the surface of a nearby cove. Her work has been chosen for a Maine Arts Commission juried show, hangs in private collections throughout the United States, and illustrates four New England hiking guides.
