About the Artist

The sea and sailing have always been a powerful inspiration and influence in Craig''s life. Throughout his life as a teacher, an apprenticed furniture builder, sculptor and avid sailor he has always gravitated toward a nautical theme.

With retirement from the teaching profession now on the horizon, he has returned to the art world with the establishment of Hope Framing. Craig now places his full attention toward nautical carvings and fine nautical art by some of the best marine artist both past and present. He looks forward to many new, enjoyable and stimulating years working in Maine''s midcoast region.
