About the Artist

Accomplished photographer, writer, creative economy entrepreneur and small business owner. Formerly with a professional theatre company in Kansas City. Background includes gallery management, directing (theatre), acting (theatre and film) and photography (former photojournalist). Education includes BA in Journalism with minors in English, art history, cultural anthropology and theatre. Intense additional training in photography and method acting. Chosen nationally to participate in student artist cultural exchange program with Russia in the late 1980s. Received scholarships for work in theatre and journalism. Passionate about arts education. Currently working on several children''s books and a screenplay. Owner/Founder of Shoestring Creative Group, based in Maine.
