About the Artist

Maine''s only Official Capoeira Academy led by Master Beck of Santos, Sao Paulo, Brazil. The group was formed in 1996 in Portland and holds weekly classes on Congress Street at World Arts (616 Congress St, Portland) every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 5:30-7pm. Master Beck and Capoeira Volta ao Mundo are available for workshops, demonstrations and presentations.
