About the Artist

Mark Nutt - Painter. Light, color, texture and contrast infuse my paintings on canvas in oil - drawing on spirituality, vision and life experience. My abstracts incorporate acrylic aggregates and gold leaf. Painting intuitively, I explore chromatic theory employing brilliant hues, floated, blended and layered. Master studies enlighten while natural light permeates my plein air landscapes. Command of medium and composition, reveal striking insight.
