About the Artist

Gallery 170 is the destination for those seeking serious contemporary art. The gallery offers works by artists, both local and international, it affords you the opportunity to see that the vigorous pursuit of art is alive and well.

The gallery is housed in a beautifully restored 1854 church, 123 Borland Hill Road in Damariscotta Mills, Maine.

The 2009 season begins June 12 with an exhibit of recent paintings by Francis Grant that runs through july 12, 2009.

Selections from the estate of John Urbain will follow from July 16 - August 16, 2009.

A so&#59;o exhibition of new work by Barbara Brady will follow from August 21 - September 21, 2009.

Gallery hours: 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Thursday through Sunday through the end of September or by appointment.
Private veiwings by appoint ment throughout the year.
