About the Artist

Suzanne M. Payne is an award winning artist residing in Kennebunkport, Maine. She belongs to many art associations including the Pastel Painters of Maine where she has Signature Membership status and has been Secretary for the group since 2004, The Pastel Society of America where she is currently an Associate Member, Pastel Society of New Hampshire, Pastel Painters Society of Cape Cod, Art Guild of the Kennebunks, &&&& Maine Women in the Arts. She participates in numerous shows, paintouts and auctions as well as teaching summer workshops at Heartwood College of Art. She loves the immediacy and versatility of the pastel medium. She creates works either plein air or in the comfort of her home studio and is highly inspired by nature''s beauty. Suzanne is represented by Northlight Gallery, Ocean Avenue, Kennebunkport.
