About the Artist

I am a handweaver of one-of-a-kind pieces made with handspun yarn and hand-dyed fibers. I weave unique garments, shawls, accessories and rugs with handspun wool, llama/alpaca, silk and embellishing yarns. I weave both wool and fabric wall hangings that may be used for pray or meditation. I also create a variety of rag weavings with recycled fabrics - runners, mats and rugs. The fiber that I spin is Maine grown, carefully selected and prepared by me&#59; designed and handcrafted on floor looms in a yurt studio where I live in contemplative solitude and prayer.
