About the Artist

Maine Sea Grant is interested in partnering with Maine artists who have a focus on ocean and coastal subjects for print and online media. We accept photography, videography, illustration, printmaking, painting, etc. Projects are initiated on an as-needed basis when funding is available. In the past, we have contracted with Maine artists to feature their work in calendars, books, videos, and educational displays. Artists with coastal and marine themes should feel free to send a cover letter and portfolio sample to the attention of Catherine Schmitt.
