About the Artist
Carlton E. Rollins, Jr. (CERJ): Born in Brunswick, ME; grew up on Great Island in Harpswell, ME. Primarily an impressionist landscape painter, whose talents came to surface without assistance of formal training, apprenticeship or sponsorship.
1974-1980: Carlton attended the University of Maine at Farmington to a BA in Art and English, Interdisciplinary.
By tenacious persistance, 4000 plus paintings found home in 17 countries and all 50 states of the United States.
Carlton''s work reflects impression of water, flora and nature. He holds exhibits Thursday to Sunday at his home studio, mid-April to mid-November.
