Jessamyn Schmidt

About the Artist

Jessamyn is passionate about dance and movement. She wears many hats and is available to teach, perform and choreograph.

As an instructor, she strives to integrate technical instruction with an understanding of movement concepts including spatial and body awareness. She enjoys working with all ages and delights in helping movers discover their creative voice. She excels in creating a comfortable, inviting space where all movers can experiment safely and find joy in expressing themselves.

Jessamyn holds a BA in dance and international studies from Denison University. She has a strong ballet background, but prefers to teach modern, improvisation, and creative movement.
