About the Artist

La musique des Acadians du Maine. Singer Robert Sylvain and fiddler Steve Muise started this four-piece acoustic band by digging into their Acadian roots to discover the rich musical culture of the Acadians of Maine. Related to the Louisiana Cajuns but influenced by the Quebecois, Micmac and Bretons of the Northeast, Maine Acadians have been quietly guarding their culture for generations. Now a new generation is showing their joie de vivre. Voila Boreal Tordu!
