About the Artist

Bob Nixon has been delighting audiences with his magical effects since the mid-1970''s. A tireless entertainer, he has taken his show around the world with a wide variety of magic shows from sleight of hand and walk around magic for intimate groups to fully stage shows filled with side-splitting comedy for children, adults and families. His originality won him an award of Special Merit from the International Brotherhood of Magicians.

With two Armed Forces Entertainment/USO tours under his belt, he has left his mark in Japan, Koren, Hawaii, Guam, Okinawa, and Kwajalein plus 8 shows in Alaska for the miliatary and their families.

Bob has performed with Maine''s best talents like Tim Sample, Randy Judkins, Ed Morris, Jackson Gillman, LaughingStock Improv Troupe, Wayne from Maine and High Riders. He''s brought his magic acumen to productions at Community Little Theatre in Auburn and his magical effects have been published in the Magical Arts Journal, a national publication dedicated to the best magicians in the nation.He was a founding member of the improvisational comedy groups, Loosen-Up and LA Laughs with which he currently appears. Lecturing on magic has taken him all over the country.
