About the Artist

Machias Bay Chamber Concerts is a community non-profit group founded by Tom and Andrew Wolf that supports the arts in the area around Machias, Maine. Our primary activity is to sponsor and arrange well-known musical groups for chamber concerts, mostly in the summer. At those concerts, we also display the work of local artists.

But, the Board of Trustees also provides funds to the local school district annually to bring two or three music programs to the schools or to take students to hear the Bangor Symphony Orchestra.

We also sponsor the Farmstead Barn Performance Series at U.Maine-Machias, and award the Robert M Guptill award to an individual for outstanding contributions to the cultural life of the Washington County and the Hollis Ingalls Music Awards to local students who have improved in their music studies during the current year.
