About the Artist

Off the Grid Press was founded in 2005 to publish outstanding poetry by poets over sixty. Its books are designed by Michael Alpert and printed in smyth-sewn editions on acid-free paper.
Off the Grid''s first title, Henry Braun''s Loyalty: New and Selected Poems, is the 2008 Maine Literary Awards winner for poetry. Of its second title, Lee Sharkey''s A Darker, Sweeter String, reviewer Irene Koronas has written, ""If you buy no other book for the next five years, this is a must, must read, must possess.""
